I think of Mike everday I walk in my office. We worked together for several years during his time at Sprint. I was leaving work one day and took a spill on my motorcycle. Mike just happened to be outside at the time and came to assist picking me and the bike up off the ground. When I got home that night I had a message on my phone from him that said hey man, "I left a little gift in your office for you." I got to work the next day and he had crafted a mobile, that has been in my cube for probably 4 or 5 years now. The mobile was two popsicle sticks in a cross pattern with one strand of telephone wire to hand it from the ceiling. Then off the of the four ends of the popsicle sticks he had the little pieces of my motorcycle that had broken off, hanging from strands of telephone wire. I will always have a piece of mike with me, his good heart, his good nature and the many many stories he would tell of his beautiful daughter. He was such a proud daddy! Mike is a great friend an will be missed immensely by many. I wish all of Gods stenght and love to his family at this trying time. My prayers and Best Wishes Don Hammond....

Mike was the nicest guy around the office and would always seek me out on Mondays to talk about the Raiders and how they did the day before. He was a fun-loving person who always spoke lovingly of his wife and daughter. Mike touched the lives of everybody he met and will be greatly missed.

I've know Mike for about 20 years and have a lot of good memories but one thing I can say about him is that he never really got his feathers ruffled. Mike always seemed so calm, but ready to have a good time. Shortly after Mike and Stef got married, we went on a ski trip....Mike had skiied before, however, Stefanie had not!! I'm not sure why we didn't think she might need a quick lesson but up the mountain we went and the fun began. Stefani would fall and Mike would help her up. Stefani would fall and Mike would help her up....well pretty soon Stefani wasn't liking the falling down and getting back up and she became louder and more vocal on how much she was not liking this skiing stuff...the poor little kids in ski school learned a few choice words that day...as they skiied by Stef laying in the snow…but Mike, with a smile, hung in there with her...and they did make it to the bottom of the mountain. I’m pretty sure the rest of the time was spent doing whatever Stefani wanted to do and Mike was perfectly fine with that. Mike was a good friend, a proud Daddy and he loved his wife! Thinking of you Stef and Sydney!

I remember meeting mike shortly after he moved here. Mike was able to make you feel confortable even when you did't want to be there. He would always take the time to stop and say Hi, and loved the biker lifestyle. If you wasn't lucky enough to of become Mikes friend ...Well you missed out on knowing one of the best people that I have ever known. You will be missed My Friend...

I've known Mike for many years. Too, too many to count. We first met on the road when we were installers.
We went into SPRINT together as too, and worked many years there as well.
Mike knew how I enjoyed horseradish, and when his Mom made it, always bought me some for me and my husband to enjoy. I'd come to work, and there it would be on my desk waiting for me. He was just that kind of guy.
I had the opportunity to meet Stefanie, and always enjoyed seeing him in his element, and looked forward to every year seeing his pictures from his biking trips to Sturgess.
I hsve slways kept in touch over the years even if was just to say hi, and see how he and Stefanie, and later, their Daughter were doing.
Mike will be sorely missed, not only by me, but I'm sure by all who had the opportunity to be in his presence. We were blessed.
