Obituary of Ian Hoft

IN LOVING MEMORY OF IAN HOFT Ian Is With The Angels Making Beautiful Music It is with great sadness that I write this post. My sister, Beth Cooper's son, Ian Hoft passed away August 12, 2011, at approximately 12:10 A.M. at the age of 32. He was born August 28, 1978, in Norton, Kansas. Ian had a great love and talent for music. He could play multiple instruments, such as the guitar and piano and was also an amazing song writer. Throughout his life he dedicated himself to his music. In good times and in bad times, he expressed himself in his music easier than he could with words. Music was his passion and joy. We are blessed that his suffering is over and that he, his music, and gentle spirit were a part of our lives. Ian's wish was to be cremated. Arrangements are pending for the scattering of his ashes. There will be a "Celebration of Life" August 20, 2011, at the Attitudes Restaurant, Norton, Kansas, 2:30 - 4:30 P.M. Thank you all for your love and support during these past few months. We can never have the words to express how much you are loved and appreciated. Please keep his wife, Summer, precious daughter, Lilly, stepson Cole Tyrell, mother, Beth, his father, Terry and wife Lisa, brothers, Aaron and T. J., sister, Tessa, his nephews, Noah and Ollie, and his friends and family in your prayers. The family requests monetary donations to help with funeral expenses to the Ian Hoft Memorial Fund.
