Just wanted to say "I love you Ian & you will be missed. I'm sorry I didn't make it over to see you while you were sick. It's too hard for me to see you like that. I want to remember you as the "happy, smiling, bouncy" guy I always knew you as. No more pain, no more worries. Love you buddy!!

We will always have Denver. Ian was the big brother I never had. He will be missed everyday of my life. My thoughts an prayers go out to Beth an the rest of the family. He made us smile an laugh an love even when we tried not to. I think that takes a powerful person. I hope everyone remembers with his head cocked to one side that smile that lets you know you are loved. Good Bye Bubba

I didn't know you the last years of your life Ian; a fact I lament. You inspired me to pick up the guitar. After a long struggle, I became an accomplished player. You once commented that my technical abilities had exceeded your own. It may seem like meager praise to the casual observer, but it thundered in my ears. It wasn't until a short time later that I realized it was your gift for piano that I should have envied.
I think of you often, but am sorry to confess have only now learned of your passing. I want to thank you. My wife is a lover of music. I might not have caught her eye had I not been influenced by you. It's possible you may have been the single greatest contributor to my joy.
The other posts here focus on your music (much as I have done). While no one can deny your gift was substantial, it's not what attracted me to you. It was your levity. I'll never forget our misspent youth together (I'll always remember the girls we picked up at Elitches you scoundrel). I miss you.
