To the family of Veda:
Sorry I missed Veda's service. I want to let you know what a great gal I think Veda was. I worked with Veda at the health department in the 1980's and 1990's. She was great to work with, and there was never a dull moment when Veda was around!
My husband and I took our first trip to Las Vegas with Veda and Merle. We were newbies and they had been there before. We had so much fun with them.
I am so sorry for your loss, but I am happy that Veda is totally healed and she will make heaven a little bit brighter!
Sincerely,
Kristi Schnuerle

Brenda I am so sorry for your loss, you were a great advocate for your mother and I want you to know how much I admired that. I will miss Veda very much. She was a wonderful lady that I fell in love with instantly. She had the best sense of humor and smile. Thanks for sharing her with me and for letting me be her "pill" pusher.

My Aunt Veda was one of a kind. I remember when my family lived in San Diego in the late 60's, she would save labels from campbells soup cans and get free soups mugs to send to us and same for green giant, we loved the green giant kites that she sent. When we moved to Clay Center, Kansas in the early 70's, the highlight of the summer was getting to take the continental trailways bus from clay center all the way to Norton to stay a week with her family.
We could all learn so many life lessons by watching how she lived and how she treated others. She lived a loving honorable life and touched more than she will ever know.
Rest In Peace my dear.
