My condolences to classmate Donita and all the family. Delores and Don were very important role models for my sons, Mark and Gary Bates. They used to help Don "saddle break" horses and work on the farm. Your parents utilized that time to make lasting impressions on them. God bless.

I remember your parents well. They were such a loving Christian couple. I use to baby sit with you girls when you were quite young. I know it is difficult loosing a parent, but know that your mother is now in heaven with your dad and George.

Tom and I are rejoicing along with the rest of the family. We can't imagine how happy she is right now. She so looked forward to going home. She asked me one day why I thought she hadn't passed away when she wanted to so badly, and I told her the Lord was preparing our hearts to give her up,just like he did with my Mom. She is home now, and it is ok, we are so happy for her even though she will be sorely missed.

We were so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. We have enjoyed getting to know her over the past 2 years. Her attitude and outlook on life were always so positive! We could not have wished for a better roommate for our mother! Delores was so tolerant of the difficulties our mother has had, especially since Christmas. We know you will miss her dearly and we will miss seeing her at Garden Valley.

What a wonderful lady.... I had so much fun as a kid traveling with her to all the Bible bowl conferences.... She and her kids and grandkids were always a fun group of people to hang out with....
