Blake and I were hoping to get back for the funeral but it doesn't look like we will be able to make it. Our thoughts and prayers are for Carla and the girls. I still remember Steve and Carla getting married on Valentines Day and going to their wedding dance. Steve has always been a very kind and fun loving person (who could always set me in cards!) and will be missed by so many! May God bless and comfort you at this time!

Steve was a devoted friend of the Andbe home as a board member or just spending time with the residents. He will be very much missed by us all! Our prayers are with the family.

We were so sorry to hear of Steve's death. Steve and I spent a great deal of time together during a lengthy stay at the KU Med Center. We shared a room. So, it was nice to have a friend there while everybody else was so far away.
To the family of Steve Hawks,
I always had a great deal of admiration for Steve. He treated everybody with respect and honor. I was privileged to graduate from Northern Valley with such a fine individual. Distance has prevented a friendship from growing, but it has not diminished the respect I have for Steve.
I believe a person continues to live on through the works and memories he fosters during his life. Steve will obviously be remembered for a long time.

Steve was a great guy and had a great family. He spent a lot of his time visiting people in the hospital and in the Andbe Home. Just an all a round good guy he will be missed.

Steve was such a nice guy,and a great friend. We had alot of fun thru High School. Just saw Steve recently. He will be missed.
