Thank you Mr. Olson for saving me from my own attempt at self-destruction. You accepted me for me and held me to a higher standard. I will never forget sitting in your office engaged in many discussions. You inspired me to teach and not to judge. You will always hold a special place in my heart. I am disappointed I did not make your funeral but I will always honor your memory in my classroom.
