Obituary of Deanna L. Georgeson

IN LOVING MEMORY OF DEANNA L. GEORGESON Deanna Lou Georgeson, daughter of Sylvester "Buck" and Zella (Brown) Jacobs, was born December 4, 1944, in Norton, Kansas, and passed away at the Andbe Home in Norton on March 11, 2020, at the age of 75. Deanna grew up in Norton and attended the Norton schools, graduating from the Norton Community High School. On January 16, 1966, Deanna and Max Georgeson were united in marriage in Norton. They moved to the farm northwest of Norton in 1968, where they farmed and raised their family. Deanna was a typist at Valley Hope for many years and later for the Worden Law Office. Deanna was a member of the Norton Christian Church and she was diligent about reading her Bible every morning to start her day. She enjoyed cooking, knitting and crocheting, spending time in her flower garden and researching genealogy. Her greatest joy in life was her family and spending special times with them. Survivors include: her husband, Max, of their home in Norton; one son, Scott Georgeson, Norton; her twin sister, Diane Kent, Manhattan, Kansas; three grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Deanna was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Tom, her daughter, Summer, and her half-sister, Donna Shirley.
