Obituary of Judith Kent

IN LOVING MEMORY OF JUDITH S. KENT (SENTER) Judith Sandra Kent, age 76, of Norton went to be with the Lord on Sat 02/01/20. She was born to Joseph and Anita Senter on 08/13/43 in Denver, CO. Judy was the 3rd of five children: JoAnne, Marvin and Jerald (Buz) still alive & kicking. She remains celebrated by her 2 children: Derek (Sue) and Jolene (Mike Ward.) plus 4 grandchildren: Brenda, Jeffrey (Katie), Jordan (Jessica) and Kelsey Kuehn; and the 6 great grandchildren: Savannah, Aspen, Sonny, Zayden, Myla and Eliana. Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charley Thomas Kent, her daughter Denise, and her brother Jim. Chuck and Judy moved to Norton from the Denver area in 1985, and owned the Pool Hall on State Street for several years. Afterward Chuck worked for the school district and Judy was the feisty homemaker. Chuck and Judy were members of the American Legion and had many friends with whom they went dancing, playing cards and throwing darts. She moved into Dawson Place in Hill City where she lived since 2009.
