Obituary of Larry Dean Fletchall

LARRY D. FLETCHALL

 

Larry Dean Fletchall went to his final resting place in heaven on Oct. 2, 2019 at the age of 73. Larry was born in Missouri to Clyde and Phyllis (Gubser) Fletchall on June 11, 1946.

He grew up in Kansas and graduated from Lyons High School in 1964. Larry then attended Salt City Business School in Hutchinson, earning his certificate in accounting studies. On Feb. 14, 1973 Larry married the love of his life, Greta Beth Tibbetts. They lived the majority of their married life in Norton and resided there at his death.

Larry and Beth were well known in the community. Larry spent his career working for the State of Kansas, including Norton State Hospital and the Kansas Dept. of Transportation. Larry and Beth attended the Living Hope Fellowship in Norton. Larry had a beautiful tenor voice and enjoyed singing with his siblings at family get-togethers and at his local church.

Larry was devoted to his wife, Beth, and was a loyal, loving and caring husband, son, brother and brother-in-law. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Beth; his brothers, Eugene (Linda) Fletchall, Lincoln, Ark.; Gary (Linda) Fletchall, Hutchinson; and Ralph (Amy) Fletchall, Hutchinson; sisters, Ilene (Earnest) Staggs, Kansas City, Mo.; Sandra (Ted) Henry, Newton; Donna Barker, Hutchinson; Lynette (Clem) Kilpatrick, Hutchinson; and Naomi Jackson, Hutchinson; many nieces and nephews, and his large extended family. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Merril Tibbetts, Norton; and sister-in-law Dawn Bezill, Norton.

Cremation has occurred, memorial service pending. Memorial contributions are suggested in Larry's name sent directly to Living Hope Fellowship and the National Alzheimer's Association.
