Dear Dawn, So sorry we won't be with you tomorrow. We know you're surrounded by many loving friends and family members. We'll be praying for you as we sit in the funeral here at home and hope to see you very soon. Your mom was a special woman and I enjoyed hearing the stories about her life -- especially the school secretary stories. You have honored both of your parents well. We'll talk more soon. Our condolences and memories to you, Dawn, of your mother Pat, who was always smiling, gracious and never knew a stranger. We knew that she was community-minded and involved, but not to the degree shown in her obit. We'd all forgotten about her and Red's naval experiences. All of us have a treasure trove of memories with you and your parents - Chris remembers milking a cow and tasting the milk right out of the can, all of us being included in Pat's Sunday dinners, getting to hang out with your Dad as he did his farming...and sweet, big, family gatherings in Lenora.
Please know we're thinking of you and are thankful for the memories we got to make with your family.
