Obituary of Twila Marie Jones

IN LOVING MEMORY OF TWILA M. JONES Twila Marie Jones, daughter of Charles Elwin and Mildred Elaine (Rowlan) Barrow, was born October 31, 1930, in Holly, Colorado, and passed away at the Halstead Place in Halstead, Kansas, on November 9, 2010, at the age of 80. Twila grew up in Holly, and graduated from the Holly High School. She married Walter Jones and to this union five children were born. They made their home in Syracuse, Kansas, before moving to Norton, where she was a homemaker. Her husband passed away January 5, 1998. She later moved to Halstead Place due to health issues. She was a member of the Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and painting. Survivors include: five children, Michael, and wife, Kathy Jones, Hays, Kansas; Roseanna, and husband, Fred Stoffregen, Walton, Kansas; Sheila Kathke, Hillsboro, Oregon; Kelly, and wife, Lana Jones, Norton, Kansas; Darren, and wife, Debbie Jones, Overbrook, Kansas; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Kay, and husband, Buster Dennis, Meana, Arkansas; other relatives and friends. Twila was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, and two sisters. Memorials may be made to the Twila Jones Memorial Fund.
