I love the way Weldon loved Merrice. Their relationship was genuine and sincere. I never met him on the street when he didn't greet me with a smile and reached out hand to hold mine. He was a kind and caring man and he will truly be missed.

Dear Brooks family:
Oh, what an unforgettable, precious man! That laugh, smile, stories, sharing & caring, wisdom and example of hard work and how to treat people. To know him is to love him!
I've been so blessed to know you all, and his passing is hard. My life and my family's has been so enriched and bless by him and the Brooks family.
I would've been at the service if I could have. He lives on in all our hearts. Love you all!

Mr. B will be missed by many. We will miss giving him a hard time about the huskers and Amber says wearing my husker gear on Saturday won't be near as much fun without Mr. B around to comment on it.May you fly high with the angels and rest easy knowing we will take good care of Merrice.
