Obituary of Lyle Stevens

IN LOVING MEMORY OF LYLE E. STEVENS Lyle Eldridge Stevens, beloved son of Harry and Helen (Clester) Stevens, was born on April 24, 1926 in Oregon City, Oregon, and peacefully passed away at the Logan Manor in Logan, Kansas on February 17, 2018, at the age of 91. Lyle moved to a farm north of Almena as a young boy. He attended Northern Valley Schools which he later went back to graduate after proudly serving his country. On December 26, 1944, Lyle married the love of his life, Oda Henry in Norton, Kansas. They made their home on the farm north of Almena and to this union they were blessed with their daughter, Elaine. Lyle was a man who could fix just about anything. He loved to go fishing, boating, making clocks, rebuilding old cars, and taking motorcycle trips. His greatest love was his family, especially his daughter and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include: his daughter, Elaine Clark, Norton; one sister, Virginia Ranken, Portland, OR; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Lyle was preceded in death by his wife, Oda; his parents; two infant grandchildren and one infant great-grandchild. FUNERAL SERVICES – Thursday, February 22, 2018 – 10:00 A.M.
