Obituary of Liz Bieber
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
K. ELIZABETH "LIZ" BIEBER
K. Elizabeth "Liz" Bieber, daughter of Ross and Katherine (Erdman) Blaylock, was born March 25, 1921, in Smith Center, Kansas, and passed away at the Andbe Home in Norton, Kansas, on October 29, 2010, at the age of 89.
Liz grew up in Smith Center and attended the public schools, graduating from the Smith Center High School in 1939. She lived in Manhattan, Kansas, from 1939 until 1941, at which time she moved to Oberlin, Kansas. On January 11, 1947, Liz and Junior L. Bieber were united in marriage in Osborne, Kansas. They made their home in Norton where Liz was a homemaker and a clerical worker for the Department of Agriculture.
Liz was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Norton, where she taught first grade Sunday School and played piano. She was active in the Methodist women's group and enjoyed working at the Thrift Shop.
Survivors include: one daughter, Lynnette Forman, and her husband, James B. Forman III, Monument, Colorado; one granddaughter, Kendra Lohrmeyer; one sister, Connie Blaylock, Smith Center, Kansas; one sister-in-law, Elaine Bieber, San Diego, California; one nephew, Stephen Stewart, Littleton, Colorado; numerous nieces and nephews on her husband's side of the family; special friends and neighbors, Chriss and Evelyn McDiffett, Norton; other relatives and friends.
Liz was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Lynn Stewart, and one nephew, Ronald Stewart.
