Obituary of Eula Bernice Heikes

EULA B. HEIKES
Eula Bernice Heikes, daughter of Clarence and Olive (Bozarth) Goldsby, was born December 7, 1914, in Norton County, Kansas, and passed away at the Andbe Home in Norton, on September 28, 2010, at the age of 95.
Eula grew up on a farm near Lenora, Kansas, and attended the local schools. On December 24, 1939, Eula and Kenneth Heikes were united in marriage at the Norton County Courthouse. They made their home in the Lenora area and raised their two sons, Robert and Raymond. Kenneth passed away?
Eula was a member of the Good Hope Church and later the United Parish Church of Lenora. She was a member of the Aurora Club, Good Hope Ladies Aid, Rebekah Lodge, and the Women's Fellowship.
Survivors include: her two sons and their wives, Robert and Judith Heikes, Hot Springs, Arkansas; Raymond and Rhonda Heikes, Lenora; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother and his wife, Gerald and Ellen Goldsby, Elmore, Ohio; one sister, Dorothy Reynolds, St. Louis, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, six sisters, and one grandson.
Memorials may be made to Lenora United Parish Church and the Hospice Services of Norton County.
