Obituary of Larry F. McMullen

IN LOVING MEMORY OF LARRY F. McMULLEN Larry McMullen, son of Donald and Helen (Young) McMullen, was born April 11, 1940 in Norton, Kansas and peacefully passed away September 15, 2017 at the Norton County Hospital in Norton, at the age 77. Larry grew to manhood in Norton where he graduated from the Norton Community High School. On February 7, 1960, Larry and Jerris Cuthbertson were united in marriage at the Norton Christian Church in Norton. They made their home in Norton where they raised their family and where Larry worked on the family farm. Larry was a member of the Norton Christian Church. He was involved in numerous activities throughout the Norton community including, I.O.O.F Lodge, Young Farmers, Norton County Fair Board, SPPA and Busy Jayhawkers 4-H Club, where he was a leader. Larry loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Survivors include: his loving wife, Jerris, Norton; five children, Brad McMullen, and special friend, Shelly, Norton; Lisa Eberle, Norton; Lynne, and husband, Emmett Lewis, Norton; Brian, and wife, Missy McMullen, Norton; Lari Ann, and husband, Denny Nickell, Norton; one brother, Terry, and wife, Iris McMullen, Littleton, Colorado; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several other relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Charles Cuthbertson; mother-in-law, Aileen Cuthbertson; son-in-law, Kurtis Eberle.
