Obituary of Beverley Jane Van Ornum

BEVERLEY J. VAN ORNUM
Beverley Jane Van Ornum, daughter of Frank and Helen (Willson) Hunter, was born October 31, 1927, in Richmond, California, and passed away at the Andbe Home in Norton, Kansas, on August 7, 2017, at the age of 89.
Beverly grew up in California and attended school there. On April 13, 1946, Beverley and John Carl Van Ornum were united in marriage in Reno, Nevada, and to this union three children were born. They made their home in Sacramento where Beverley was a homemaker and raised their family. Following her husband's death, she later moved to Norton to be near her daughters and her grandchildren.
Survivors include: her daughter, Beverley Warriner (Joe Dawson,) Norcatur, Kansas; her son, John Van Ornum, Elk Grove, California; and her daughter, Janie (Kirk) Foley, Topeka, Kansas; four grandchildren, Megan (Robby) Mapes, Maggie Foley, Allie Foley, and Kayla Foley; seven great-grandchildren, Kylee, Taylor, Morgan, and Kevin Mapes, Holdyn and Deklyn Rowe, and Harper Foley; other relatives and friends.
Beverley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Lawrence, Donald, and Bill Hunter, and one granddaughter, Carrie Ellen Warriner.
VISITATION – Wednesday, August 9, 2017 – 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
