IN LOVING MEMORY OF
GLEN I. HAYES
Glen Ivan Hayes, son of Daniel and Marcia (Mattke) Hayes, was born July 7, 1970, in Wakeeney, Kansas, and passed away at the Norton County Hospital in Norton, Kansas, on June 24, 2017, at the age of 46.
Glen grew up in Wakeeney and Palco, Kansas, and graduated from the Palco High School. Glen made his home in Norton where he was a dispatcher and logistics advisor for Schneider Farms in Logan, Kansas. Glen married Chanda Munk and later divorced, but together they had two wonderful children, Ward and Weston Hayes.
Glen enjoyed helping the community and especially enjoyed donating his time at the Eagles Lodge. He loved paddlefishing and a nice cold Miller Lite, but his greatest joys were his sons, traveling and hanging out with them and watching them play sports.
Survivors include: his sons, Ward and Weston Hayes and Leighton Bush; his parents, Daniel and Marcia Hayes, Smithville, Missouri; one brother, Bobby Hayes, Wamego, Kansas; two sisters, Karen Vice and Anita Cook, both of Smithville, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
