Obituary of Kurtis Eberle

IN LOVING MEMORY OF KURTIS E. EBERLE Kurtis Earl Eberle, son of Charles Newell and Gayle (Moran) Eberle, was born January 9, 1961, in Beloit, Kansas, and passed away at his home in Norton on March 28, 2017, at the age of 56. Kurtis attended school in Glen Elder, Kansas before moving to Norton where he graduated from the Norton Community High School with the Class of 1979. On October 9, 1982, Kurtis was united in marriage to the love of his life, Lisa McMullen at the Norton Christian Church. Kurtis and Lisa made their home in Norton where he had worked for New Age Industries from 1979 – 2013. Kurtis enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, any activities involving his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed being outdoors and watching the birds and squirrels in his yard. Kurtis's greatest love was his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Survivors include: his loving wife, Lisa Eberle, of their home in Norton; two children, Dakota, and wife, Ashley Eberle, Garden City, Kansas; Chelsey Eberle, and fiancée, Tom Norton, Kansas; his father, Newell Eberle, Norton, Kansas; two sisters, Dana, and husband, Barry Madden, Norton, Kansas; Kelly Lyon, Norton, Kansas; three grandchildren, Matt, Payton and Addilyn; several other relatives and friends. Kurtis was preceded in death by his mother, Gayle; step-mother, Luella; brother, Steve Eberle and brother-in-law, Kevin Lyon. FUNERAL SERVICE – Friday, March 31, 2017 –2:00 P.M. PLACE - Norton Christian Church – Norton, Kansas VISITATION – Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M PLACE – Enfield Funeral Home – Norton, Kansas INTERMENT – Norton Cemetery – Norton, Kansas MEMORIALS – Kurtis Eberle Memorial Fund
