Obituary of Marjorie Emma Drommer
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
MARJORIE E. DROMMER
Marjorie Emma Drommer, daughter of Claude Llewellyn and Hattie Frances (Bullock) Thompson, was born September 15, 1910, in Glasco, Kansas, and passed away at the Andbe Home in Norton, Kansas, on February 19, 2010, at the age of 99 years.
Marjorie attended the Center School and Almena Grade School and graduated from the Almena Rural High School. On August 26, 1934, she married Marvin Roland Drommer in Almena, Kansas. They made their home where she was a homemaker.
Marjorie was active in the Congregational Church in Almena and later the First United Methodist Church in Norton.
Survivors include: one son, Roger Drommer, Whitewright, Texas; one daughter and her husband, Mary Ann and Terry Hager, Norton; one brother, Daniel Thompson, Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Wilma Mae Weckerling, Topeka, Kansas; eight grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, John, Tom, Joe, and Bob Thompson, and one sister, Mary Duling.
A memorial has been established to the Marjorie Drommer Memorial Fund.
