Obituary of Lucas Christian Welch

IN LOVING MEMORY OF LUCAS C. WELCH Lucas Christian Welch, son of Ron and Chris (Uhrich) Welch, was born August 11, 2010, in Norton, Kansas, and passed away in Norton County on September 11, 2010, at the age of 21. Lucas grew up in Norton where he attended the local schools graduating with the NCHS class of 2008, and he also attended Central Kansas Vo-Tech in Hays. He worked as a laborer and was a member of the National Flat Track Association. Survivors include: his mother, Chris Welch and Brad Carlin, Lenora, Kansas; his father, Ron Welch, Plainville, Kansas; his brother, Heath Welch, Hays, Kansas; his special friend, Kayla Lee, Norton; his paternal grandparents, Ray and Virginia Welch, Hays; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Rose Uhrich and one uncle, Randy Welch. The family has requested that memorials be made to the Lucas Welch Memorial Fund.
