Obituary of Bruce Chambers
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
BRUCE TOLLE CHAMBERS
Bruce T. Chambers, son of Clifford and Joyce (Tolle) Chambers, was born November 6, 1938 in Norcatur, Kansas, and passed away at the Norton County Hospital surrounded by his family on October 12, 2016, at the age of 77.
Bruce grew up in Norcatur and graduated from Aurora High School in Nebraska. He later received his Vo tech degree. Throughout his life Bruce was a diesel mechanic and owned Northwest Diesel Repair. He lived in Oberlin and later moved to Norton.
Bruce was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. He loved to go fishing at the Keith Sebelius Reservoir in Norton and was also a big animal lover. His greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: six children, M. Jeanne Pachner, Oberlin, Kansas; V. Caryl Forgue, New Hampshire; James Anderson, Flordia; Bruce L. Chambers, Lexington, Nebraska; Jerry J. Chambers, Oberlin, Kansas; Patricia G. Hart, Norton, Kansas; one sister, Pat Hallan, Lexington, Nebraska; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Deanna; one grandson, Adam Chambers; one sister, Glenda Chambers; step-son, Robert Anderson.
FUNERAL – Saturday, October 15, 2016 –10:30 A.M.
PLACE – Norcatur Methodist Church – Norcatur, Kansas
INTERMENT – Norcatur Cemetery – Norcatur, Kansas
