Obituary of Kevin Lyon

IN LOVING MEMORY OF KEVIN LYON Kevin Lyon, son of LaVern and Elaine (Gier) Lyon, was born April 6, 1957, in Plainville, Kansas, and passed away at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, on September 3, 2016, at the age of 59. Kevin grew up in Natoma and graduated from the Natoma High School. On June 16, 1984, Kevin and Kelly Eberle were united in marriage in Norton, Kansas. They later separated but remained good friends. Kevin worked as a foreman at New Age Industrial Corporation in Norton. Kevin enjoyed going to the shooting range, doing carpentry work, and working in his shop. If it was broke you could bet that Kevin would fix it. His greatest love was his family and friends, especially his granddaughters. If you knew Kevin you would know that he always wore a smile, had the most contagious laugh and it didn't matter what song was playing he would sing it at the top of his lungs. Survivors include: one daughter, Tosha, and husband, Kyle Kats, Norton; mother, Elaine Lyon, Salina, Ks; sister, Ranelle Harrell, Blue Spring, Mo; two grandchildren, Kenlee and Addison Kats; special friend, Kelly Lyon, Norton; many other relatives and friends.
