Obituary of Ann Rouse Hazlett

IN LOVING MEMORY OF ANN HAZLETT Ann Hazlett, daughter of William W. Rouse and Winifred (Corley) Rouse, was born on December 26, 1931, in Norton, Kansas, and passed away on August 24, 2010, at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Kansas. at the age of 78. Ann attended the Norton School Systems. She also graduated from St. Mary College, in Salina, Kansas receiving her degree in accounting. She married Lyle Webb on February 5, 1951, and to this union four children were born. She later married Walter Hazlett on April 7, 1979. She worked in her father's bank in Norton for most of her life retiring in 1995. She enjoyed playing bridge, golf, and spent many years working with the girl scouts. Survivors include: her husband Walt Hazlett Norton: Four Children, Diana Craig, San Clemente, CA: Mike Webb Natoma, KS: Janette Bertholf, Clearwater, FL: JoAnn Washburn, Steamboat Springs, CO: Two Stepchildren, Joyce Quinn, Almena, KS: Dan Hazlett, Norton, KS: One Sister, Judith Rooney, Satanta, KS. Nine grandchildren: six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother In-law Archie Rooney, and two son in-laws Max Craig and Keith Bertholf.
