Obituary of Rosemarie Maley

IN LOVING MEMORY OF ROSEMARIE MALEY Rosemarie Maley, daughter of Willie and Teresia (Gogriavec) Deuerlein, was born March 4, 1960, in Los Angeles, California, and passed away in at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas, on March 18, 2016, at the age of 56. Rose grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from North View High. On December 20, 1985, Jan Maley and Rose were united in marriage in Norton, Kansas. Rose loved to garden and tend to the goats, cows, and chickens. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. Rose had a heart of gold and loved being a foster mother. Survivors include: her loving husband, Jan Maley, of their home in Norton; three children, Amanda Obermiller, Norton, Kansas; Christina (Scott) Hobgood, Tylertown, Mississippi; Joey (Michelle) Dawley, Norton, Kansas; 10 grandchildren; several other friends and family members. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Teresia Deuerlein. Private family inurnment services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made out to the Rosemarie Maley Memorial Fund.
