Obituary of Richard Lawson

IN LOVING MEMORY OF RICHARD LYNN LAWSON Richard Lynn Lawson, son of Charles and Nellie (Kimbrell) Lawson, was born October 14, 1953, in Norton, Kansas, and passed away at Parkview Care Center in Osborne, Kansas on March 7, 2016, at the age of 62. Richard was raised in Norton and attended the schools in Norton and Hill City. He graduated from the Beamgard Learning Center in Atwood in 1976. Richard lived at the DSNWK House in Atwood, Kansas before moving to Osborne three years ago. Richard was a member of the Norton Christian Church. He enjoyed attending the Cedar Bluffs Sunrise Camp. Richard loved music and being around people. His greatest love was all of his family and friends. Survivors include: one brother, Wayne Lawson, McLoud, Oklahoma; five sisters, Leta Dufford, Arvada, Colorado; Ila Lemon, Salina, Kansas; Creta Wonderlich, Osborne, Kansas; Donna Goscha, Norton, Kansas; Carol Griffith, Norton, Kansas; one sister-in-law, Carol Lawson, Norton, Kansas; many other relatives and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dean Lawson; two brother-in-laws, Gerald Wonderlich and Bill Goscha, one sister-in-law, Norma Lawson, and one nephew-in-law, Doug Gallentine.
