Obituary of Sheryll K Boo

IN LOVING MEMORY OF SHERYLL K. BOO Sheryll Kay Boo, daughter of Forrest Eugene and Boni Lee (Mitchell) Hunter, was born January 7, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa, and passed away at the Good Samaritan Center in Kearney, Nebraska, on November 29, 2015, at the age of 62. Sherri grew up in Burlington, Kansas, and attended the schools there. On November 8, 1980, Sherri and Jim Boo were united in marriage in Geneva, Nebraska. They made their home in Shickley, Nebraska, and Norton and Almena, Kansas, where she was a homemaker. After moving to Norton, Sherri also worked at the K&S Center Café for several years, a job she greatly enjoyed. Sherri had many hobbies including listening to music, gardening and canning, crocheting, and horses. Her greatest joys in life were her family members and friends. She enjoyed participating with her children in all their activities and was a very loving grandmother. Survivors include: her husband, Jim Boo, of their home in Almena; one daughter, Angel Nelson, Stamford, Nebraska; her son and his wife, Kelly and Keely Boo, Laramie, Wyoming; six grandchildren, Dylan and Maggie Spradlin, Julie and Bonnie Nelson, Kolton Boo and Baby Girl Boo (due in March 2016;) one brother, Forrest Eugene Hunter III, of Missouri; one sister, Gloria Jean Olsen, Downer's Grove, Illinois; other relatives and many friends. Sherri was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kelly and Forrest Hunter, and her son-in-law, Scott Nelson.
