Obituary of Pauline M. Holterman

IN LOVING MEMORY OF PAULINE M. HOLTERMAN Pauline Meta Holterman, daughter of Phillip Fredrick and Margaret Henrietta (Pyell) Dietz, was born May 3, 1924, in Orleans, Nebraska, and passed away at the Norton County Hospital in Norton, Kansas, on June 24, 2015, at the age of 91. Pauline grew up in the Orleans community and attended the rural grade schools. On March 21, 1942, Pauline and Orville William Holterman were united in marriage. They made their home in Long Island, Kansas, where Pauline was a homemaker. In later years, Pauline and Orville moved into the Andbe Home in Norton due to health. Pauline had attended the Gospel Hall and later the United Methodist Church in Long Island. She was a very active member of the Long Island UMW and had held many of the offices. She took great pride in being a wonderful cook and was very well-known for her pie baking abilities, especially her rhubarb pies. Survivors include: her husband, Orville Holterman, of the Andbe Home in Norton; two sons and their wives, James and Debbie Holterman, Omaha, Nebraska; Dale and Karen Holterman, Scott City, Kansas; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Daniel Everett, five brothers and five sisters.
