Obituary of Dean Jamison

IN LOVING MEMORY OF DEAN W. JAMISON Dean W. Jamison, son of Marvin and Ruth (Wing) Jamison, was born September 24, 1923, in Quinter, Kansas , and passed away at the Andbe Home in Norton, Kansas, on March 16, 2015, at the age of 91. Dean lived in the Lenora area, until moving to the Andbe Home in Norton. He attended the North Star School House and graduated from the Lenora High School. Dean went on and attended college at Kansas State University for two years, before enlisting in the Army. Dean raised registered Hereford Cattle. He loved farming and being outdoors, but his greatest love was his family. He was also a very active member of the United Parish Church in Lenora. Survivors include: one brother-in-law, Lyman David; four nieces, Jennie, and husband, Marion Goldsby; Nancy, and husband, Larry Conyac; Lisa Archer; Kathie, and husband, Mike Martin; four nephews, John, and wife, Janet David; Roger, and wife, Charlotte David; Richard David; Brian, and wife, Terri Jamison; several great-nieces and great-nephews; many other relatives and friends. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Gilbert Jamison, one sister, Myrna David, one sister-in-law, Dolores Jamison, one nephew, Jimmy David, two nieces, Diane Jamison and Enola Deem, one great-niece, Holly Conyac.
