Obituary of Leta Donovan
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
LETA DONOVAN
Leta (Chase) Donovan, daughter of Russell Chase and Mamie (Connerty) Chase, was born on February 19, 1922, in Norton, Kansas, and passed away at the Andbe Home in Norton, on February 11, 2015, at the age of 92.
Leta grew up in Norton, and attended the Norton public schools. On April 17, 1943, William Donovan and Leta Chase were united in marriage in Norton. William and Leta made their home in Norton, where Leta was a loving mother and housewife.
Leta was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Norton and served on the welcoming committee. She was a 4-H leader and also a project leader. Leta was part of the Arts Council, Mid Century Study Club, and also Mendo. One of Leta's greatest loves was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: two sons and their wives, Jack and Ruth Donovan, Rossville, Kansas; David and Lisa Donovan, Norton; Jerry Donovan's partner, Teri Minton, Salina, Kansas; nine grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Leta was preceded in death by, her parents, husband, William Donovan, one son, Jerry Donovan, two brothers and one sister.
