Obituary of Rita D Minshall

IN LOVING MEMORY OF RITA MINSHALL Rita D. (Tyrrell) Minshall, daughter of Roy and Mary (Vahling) Tyrrell, was born September 11, 1941, in Norton, Kansas, and passed away at the Norton County Hospital in Norton, on February 1, 2015, at the age of 73. Rita grew up in Norton and attended the Norton schools. Rita married Dennis Minshall in Norton on the Minshall Farm on October 9, 1982. Rita flagged construction traffic for Brown and Brown, and also for JH Shears in Salina, Kansas from 1982-1993. She waited tables and owned K&R Center from 1976 – 1981. Rita attended the Catholic Church and was involved in the Legion Auxillary. She enjoyed woodworking, making Christmas yard ornaments, and decorating. One of Rita's greatest loves was her family and grandchildren. Rita also loved cooking for the family gatherings. Survivors include: one son and his wife, Jimmy and Michele Railsback, Norton; three daughters, Deana and husband Randy Shearer, Almena, Kansas; Shara Dukes, Norton; Cathrine Bogart, Wichita, Kansas; three brothers, Richard Tyrrell, Norton; Ronald Tyrrell, Wakeeney, Kansas; Thomas Tyrrell, Norton; two sisters, Ruth Lucidi, Dunedin, Florida; Roberta Lively, Phillipsburg, Kansas; three grandchildren, Amy and husband Owen Stong, Akron, Colorado; Shyann, and Cope Railsback, Norton; two great-grandchildren; Ellie and Bryson Stong, Akron, Colorado; many other relatives and friends. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, Dean Railsback, Kenneth Bogart, Dennis Minshall, one grandson, Josey Shearer, three brothers, William, Robert, and Donald.
