Obituary of Calvin Capstick

IN LOVING MEMORY OF CALVIN C. CAPSTICK Calvin C. Capstick, son of Earl and Florence (Kipp) Capstick, was born January 28, 1933, in Prairie View, Kansas, and passed away at the Colonial Village in Alma, Nebraska, on December 20, 2014, at the age of 81. Calvin grew up in Prairie View and later on moved to Almena where he lived until moving to the Colonial Village in Alma in 2009. Calvin was a member of the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time on the family farm and helping work cattle. He loved going to Washington to see his Aunt Ruth and listening to his niece play the organ. Survivors include: one sister, Carol J. Ross, and husband, Maynard, of Alma, Nebraska; one nephew, Rodney Ross, and wife, Tonda, of Almena, Kansas; one niece, Rita Peters, and husband, Rod; one great-niece, Robin Faber, and husband, Jerry; two great-great-nephews and one great-great-niece, all of Colby, Kansas; many other relatives and friends. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials can be made out to the Calvin Capstick Memorial Fund.
