Obituary of Vicki Diane Baker

IN LOVING MEMORY OF VICKI D. BAKER Vicki Diane Baker, daughter of Rod and Ethel Marie (Henry) Clark, was born November 10, 1953, and passed away at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas, on November 30, 2014, at the age of 61. At a young age, Vicki was adopted by her step-father, Thomas Keith Murphy, following his marriage to her mother, Marie. Vicki grew up in Norton and attended the Norton schools, graduating from the Norton Community High School with the class of 1967. She met Warren Francis on Super Bowl Sunday in 1987, in San Manuel, Arizona, and they made their home in Colorado and Arizona before returning to Norton. Vicki was a CNA/CMA at the Andbe Home in Norton for many years. Vicki was a member of the first Norton Jaycee's BB Gun team to win the national trophy. She enjoyed horseback riding and loved animals while working with the Arizona Humane Society. She considered her fellow workers at the Andbe Home as part of her family and had a special love for her daughter, Jessica, and her grandchildren. Survivors include: her husband, Warren Francis, Norton; her daughter, Jessica Marie Baker, of Colorado; four grandchildren; two brothers, Randy and Rick Murphy, both of Norton; other relatives and many friends.
