Obituary of Agnes Rodenbaugh

IN LOVING MEMORY OF B. AGNES RODENBAUGH Bessie Agnes Rodenbaugh, daughter of Floyd and Katie (Zellmer) Knapp, was born January 8, 1923, in Norton County, Kansas, and passed away at the Andbe Home in Norton on September 29, 2014, at the age of 91. Agnes lived in Norton County all her life. She attended country schools and later obtained her GED. She was married to Laverne Cart, Lois Dial, and John "Dick" Rodenbaugh, and raised five children. She also worked as a nurse aide and a cook. Agnes attended the First Church of God in Norton. She enjoyed reading and gardening but her greatest loves in her life were her family members, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include: five children, Georgia Temple, Norton; Russell Cart, Almena, Kansas; Marvina Stielow, Norton; Lawayne Lewis Cart, Salina, Kansas; and Rodney E. Dial, Norton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren as well as step-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers, and three sisters.
