Obituary of Margaret F. Wyatt

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MARGARET F. WYATT Margaret Faye Wyatt, daughter of Joseph and Beth (Ziegler) Tier, was born September 30, 1956, in Alma, Nebraska, and passed away at her home in Norton, Kansas, on August 18, 2014, at the age of 57. In 1964, the family moved to Norton and Margaret graduated from Norton Community High School. On October 11, 1987, Margaret and Richard Wyatt were united in marriage in Norton where they made their home. Margaret was a longtime, faithful employee of the Norton USD 211 school system where she was currently a custodian at the Norton Junior High School. Margaret was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Norton. She was an avid quilter, enjoyed gathering collectibles, and gardening. Her favorite moments were spent with her two dogs and especially time with her grandchildren. When a child was in need she paid attention and fulfilled that need unbeknownst to others. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Survivors include: her husband, Richard Wyatt, Norton; three children, Jennifer Glennemeier, Jarrod and Wayne Davis; two step-children, Cindy Wegener and Shane Wyatt, both of Norton; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Anna Luhman, Hays, Kansas; Betty Jo Luhman and husband, Lyle, Natoma, Kansas; Frances Tatkenhorst and husband, Allen, Cuba, Missouri; and Jane Hrabik and husband, Jay, Lyons, Kansas; two brothers and their wives, Noel and Geneva Tier, Norton; and Evan and Lisa Tier, Great Bend, Kansas; other relatives and many friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents. FUNERAL SERVICE – Friday, August 22, 2014—2:00 P.M. PLACE – First United Methodist Church – Norton, KS INTERMENT – Norton Cemetery – Norton, KS MEMORIAL – NCHS Library Fund VISITATION - at the funeral home on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
