Obituary of George A Gibson

IN LOVING MEMORY OF GEORGE A. GIBSON George A. Gibson, son of Carl Vernon and Mable (Wells) Gibson, was born October 24, 1933, in Lenora, Kansas, and passed away at the Andbe Home in Norton on August 9, 2014, at the age of 80. George grew up in the Lenora community and graduated from the Lenora High School. He also served in the U.S. Army. He spent his life working in the oil fields and made his home in Lenora. George was a member of the Lenora United Parish Church. He enjoyed sports especially football and golf, was an avid reader, and always seemed to know what was going on in the world. He also loved spending time visiting with his friends in Lenora. Survivors include: one sister, Jeanine Halfich, Sacramento, California; eight nephews and nieces; other relatives and friends. George was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Joyce, one nephew, Robert, and one brother-in-law, Carl.
