Obituary of Violet M. Clark
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
VIOLET M. CLARK
Violet Marie Clark, daughter of Joseph and Elsie (Webb) Robinson, was born October 4, 1928, in Lebanon, Kansas, and passed away at the Andbe Home in Norton, Kansas, on July 24, 2014, at the age of 85.
Violet attended the local schools in Lebanon and graduated high school. On May 14, 1947, she married George Raymond Clark in Lebanon. They made their home in Beloit, Kansas, for two years before moving to Norton in 1949. Violet had worked as a hotel clerk and bookkeeper for many years. Her husband, George, passed away October 31, 2010, and Violet continued to make her home in Norton.
Violet was a member of the First Baptist Church in Norton.
Survivors include: one daughter and husband, Cheryl and Steve Thieler, Boulder, Colorado; one son and wife, Elza and Lisa Clark; one granddaughter, Jenna Thieler-Johnson, and husband, Jeffrey Johnson, Superior, Colorado; two great-granddaughters, Violete Grace (age 7) and Josephine Linh (age 3); two sisters, Lenora Hansen, Norton; Joan Rathbun, Smith Center, Kansas; other relatives and friends.
Violet was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, and one sister.
