Obituary of Priscilla Johnson
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
PRISCILLA R. JOHNSON
Priscilla (Redfield) Johnson, daughter of Horace Alden and Helen (Fairbanks) Redfield, was born May 18, 1920, in Mount Vernon, New York, and passed away at the Andbe Home in Norton, Kansas, on May 15, 2014, at the age of 93.
Priscilla graduated from the Connecticut College for Women in 1942. On January 16, 1943, she married Neil Johnson in Mount Vernon, and to this union two children, Larry and Pam, were born. They made their home in New London, Connecticut, and San Diego, California, before moving to Norton where Priscilla was a homemaker. She also served as a KU housemother for six years.
Priscilla was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Norton and a Thrift Store volunteer. She loved playing bridge and she greatly enjoyed volunteering at the Eisenhower Elementary School.
Survivors include: one son and his wife, Larry and Joan Johnson, and one daughter and her husband, Pam and Mark Woodard, all of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and her ex-husband, Neil.
Memorials have been established to the Andbe Home and the Eisenhower Elementary School Library
