Obituary of Marlin Bozarth
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
MARLIN (BOZIE) BOZARTH
Marlin K. (Bozie) Bozarth, son of Glenn and Edna (Gibson) Bozarth, was born August 11, 1931, in Lenora, Kansas, and passed away at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas, on April 28, 2014, at the age of 82.
Bozie grew up in Lenora and attended the Lenora Grade School. He then moved to Norton where he attended Junior High and graduated from the Norton Community High School. On May 28, 1950, he married Deloros (Gates) Bozarth, in Norton. They made their home in Norton where Bozie worked for 61 years as a barber.
Bozie loved fishing, hunting, and square dancing. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports. Bozie was a jokester who loved to pick on his little brother. Bozie also loved his friends and family.
Survivors include: one daughter and her husband, Denise and Dave Whisman, Plainville, Kansas; one son and his wife, Curt and Marla Bozarth, Norton; one brother, Dennis Bozarth, Missouri; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Bozie was preceded in death by his wife, Deloros, his parents, two daughters, Cindy and Marla, one grandson, Riley Bozarth, one sister, Phyllis.
