Obituary of Melinda Baird

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MELINDA L. BAIRD Melinda LeAnn Baird, daughter of Louis and Constance (Carr) Goldsby, was born November 20, 1971, in Denver, Colorado, and passed away at the Norton County Hospital on April 15, 2014, at the age of 42. Melinda had private home schooling. On December 27, 1994, Doyle and Melinda were united in marriage in Branson, Missouri. They made their home in Almena, Kansas where they are raising their four children, Ame, Sarah, Aidan, and Mary. Melinda loved her husband and children, and especially loved watching her children grow in the Lord. She took care of the family business book-keeping and loved to scrapbook. She left a lasting impression on the children she cared for in her daycare. Survivors include: her husband, Doyle Baird; four children, Ame, Sarah, Aidan, and Mary Baird; her father, Louis Goldsby and step-mother Connie; four brothers, Jeffrey Goldsby, Tony Goldsby, Scott Goldsby, and Marshall Preble; two sisters, Jennifer Rayton and Meredith Preble; her mother-in-law, Kathy Donaldson; other relatives and many friends.
