Obituary of Crystal Moore

IN LOVING MEMORY OF CRYSTAL H. MOORE Crystal H. (Johnson) Moore, daughter of Frank and Coral (Croy) Brunk was born March 6, 1918 in Norcatur, Kansas, and passed away April 12, 2014 at the Andbe Home in Norton, Kansas at the age of 96. Crystal attended the Norcatur schools and graduated from Norcatur High School in 1936. Crystal and Emery Johnson were married August 1, 1936 in Oberlin, Kansas. She was a farmwife for many years then later retired after 20 years with the ASCS in Oberlin. Crystal was active in the Royal neighbors of America and Rebekah lodges in Norcatur. She was a member of the Norcatur Methodist Church. Crystal and Emery spent winters in Texas after their retirement until his death in 1989. Crystal loved the Texas climate and activities and many friends. Crystal and Wes Moore were married in December, 1990, in Mission, Texas and resided there until his death in 2000. Survivors include; one daughter, Carolyn and Glen Strevey; one son, Von and Joy Johnson; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and one brother.
