Obituary of Dwight D Sprigg

IN LOVING MEMORY OF DWIGHT D. SPRIGG Dwight Dane Sprigg, son of Dean and Evelyn (Meier) Sprigg, was born December 26, 1962, in Norton County, Kansas, and passed away near his home in Norton County on March 25, 2014, at the age of 51. Dwight grew up on the family farm and attended the Norton schools, graduating with the NCHS class of 1981. He also received an Associate's Degree from Colby Community College. On June 2, 1990, Dwight and Michelle Ziegler were united in marriage in Grainfield, Kansas. They made their home on the farm northwest of Norton where they farmed and raised their two children, Dustyna and Dylan. Dwight was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Norton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and was a great jokester. His greatest joys in life were spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include: his wife, Michelle Sprigg, of their home in rural Norton; two children, Dustyna and Dylan Sprigg, both of Manhattan, Kansas; his parents, Dean and Evelyn Sprigg, Norton; one brother and his wife, David and Charla Sprigg, Norton; two sisters and their husbands, Kathy and Jay Holste, Norton; Tamara and Steve Ziegelmeier, Gem, Kansas; his mother-in-law, Connie Ziegler, Oakley, Kansas; his father-in-law, Eugene Ziegler, and wife, Janell, Grainfield, Kansas; nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends. Dwight was preceded in death by his grandparents. Memorials have been established to Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Norton Chapter of FFA.
