Obituary of Mary Lou Stegeman

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MARY LOU STEGEMAN Mary Lou Stegeman, daughter of Garold and Evlynn (Horesky) Sanborn, was born July 4, 1947, in Norton, Kansas, and passed away at the Norton County Hospital in Norton, on September 22, 2013, at the age of 66. Mary Lou grew up in Norton County and graduated from the Norton Community High School. She married Kenny Stegeman at the Norton Christian Church. She made her home in Almena, Kansas, and worked in the dietary department at the Norton Correctional Facility. Mary Lou was a member of the Norton Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and ? but her greatest love was her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include: one daughter, Charlotte George, Almena; one son, Mark Towery, Ellsworth, Kansas; and special friend, Amy Cole, Homosassa, Florida; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four sisters, Saundra Anderson, Almena; Sharron, and husband, Art Thompson, Delphos, Kansas; Barbara and husband, Sandy Sandell, Chiang Mai, Thailand; Nancy and husband, Arvin Moden, Oblong, Illinois; other relatives and friends. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kenny. Memorials may be made to Mary Lou Stegeman Memorial Fund.
