Obituary of Robert William Schoenradt
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
ROBERT W. SCHOENRADT
Robert William Schoenradt, son of Carl and Margaret (Rice) Schoenradt, was born February 26, 1930, in Logansport, Indiana, and passed away at the Norton County Hospital in Norton, Kansas, on September 1, 2013, at the age of 83.
Bob grew up in Logansport and graduated from the Logansport High School. He served in the United States Air Force from 1951 until 1955. On September 26, 1956, he married Leona Francis Cox in Logansport. They made their home in the Logansport/Kokomo, Indiana, area where he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years. Following his retirement, Bob and Leona moved to Norcatur, Kansas. Leona passed away September 21, 2009, and Bob later moved into Norton.
Bob was a member of the Lutheran Church, the V.F.W., and the American Postal Service Union.
Survivors include: one son, Ed Schoenradt, Bennett, Colorado; one daughter, Ellen Schoenradt, Norton; one brother, John Schoenradt; one sister, Patricia Galloway, Jennings, Louisiana; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Leona, one infant son, and one daughter, Rose.
Memorials may be given to the Robert Schoenradt Memorial Fund.
