Obituary of Dolores Jean Altman

IN LOVING MEMORY OF DOLORES J. "DEE" ALTMAN Dolores Jean "Dee" Altman, daughter of Lloyd and Fleta (Getz) Long, was born October 2, 1938, in Phoenix, Arizona, and passed away at her home in Norton, Kansas, on June 17, 2013, at the age of 74. On May 24, 1975, Dee and Lee Altman were united in marriage at the Norton Christian Church in Norton. They made their home in Norton where they raised their four children and where Dee was a waitress for many years. Dee enjoyed spending her spare time reading, knitting, and doing puzzles but her greatest love was spending time with her family. She was also a past president of the Eagles Auxiliary in Norton. Survivors include: her husband, Lee Altman, Norton; four children, Harmon Davis, and wife, Deena, Brookville, Kansas; Carrie Fentiman, Norton; Nathan Davis, and wife, Tonya, Salina, Kansas; Bobby Jones, and wife, Cheryl, Temple, Texas; one brother, Lloyd Long, Wichita, Kansas; three sisters, Savella Gallentine, Norton; Opal Smith, Sterling, Kansas; Sheila Reiger, and husband, Mike, Butte, Montana; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Dee was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Caprice Jean Baugher, and one grandson, Kiefer Eugene Baker. Memorials may be made to Norton Public Library.
