Hey Handsome....You always could make my day with that smile and sweetness. Ornery yet sincere and open with all you felt. We shared alot and I will miss our talks. On my way to your funeral I saw a hawk circling slowly close by me near the highway,as if he were showing me the way, and then another one at the cemetary, lingering as you were laid to rest. I believe they represented you and your freedom from all that brought you down. I know now that God takes the sweetest ones. Peace out my friend. Love ya always, miss ya always....

Oh my dear dear friend JJ, seems as if after all the laughs we shared and all the hours of being the shoulder to hold one another up when life got to be to much, all the times we played kennys song on the computer (just for you)=) now those times seem so far away and our good times are now filled with tears! I know your better now, I know you can finally be free of the pain and hurt! I love you forever I like you always as long as im living my friend you will be! please keep an eye on me from up there, you know i will be waiting!!!! And i will know!!Love you!!!!

We had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with JJ when we were all much younger. JJ was like a tag-a-long brother as soon as we crossed the Kansas border. We’re sorry to hear his life was cut so short and hope he is in a better place w/that ornery grin planted on his face.

JJ,
Even though distance has prevented spending much time together recently, we have fond memories of getting to know you when you came to the DC area for a summer visit. Your PI training and pick up basketball games were special times. We know you are in a better place, but your family and friends will miss you. God bless.

I will always remember the great times I had with J.J. We had so many great times for so many years, but the best one was in the summer and a bunch of us took the boat out to do some knee boarding and tubing...well we ran out of gas in the middle of the lake and didn't know what to do, so we decided to grab some rope to tie to the boat and that's when JJ became the tower. He pulled that boat all the way to shore...lol He loved the water, and sitting by the camp fire all night with his friends. He will be missed by many but just smile and know he's okay now.
