Obituary of Karen "Kay" Geneva Yoder

IN LOVING MEMORY OF KAREN (KAY) GENEVA YODER Karen G. Yoder, known as Kay Yoder, 64, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Norton, Kansas, went to her heavenly home on April 6th, 2010. Kay was born June 26th, 1945 in Sterling, Kansas to Geneva and Earl Adams and passed away in Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. On January 12, 1964 Kay and Gerald Ray (Jerry) Yoder were united in marriage in Hutchinson, Kansas. Together they had four sons. They made their home in Hutchinson until 1976, when they moved to Norton. Her husband, Jerry, passed away March 25, 1993. Kay enjoyed working with children and will be remembered for a caring heart and always willing to help someone. She had a contagious and the gift of making everyone feel welcome. Survivors include: four sons: Dan and wife, Raylee Yoder, Kansas City, Kansas; Daryl and wife, Beckie Yoder, Derby; Don and wife, Corrie Yoder, Topeka; David Yoder and Tage Martin, Wichita; six grandchildren: Tyler, Austin, Kohl, Mikalli, Ashley and Jake; her companion, Gareth Smith, Wichita; six brothers and sisters: Jimmy Ray Adams, Kenneth Adams, Gladys Miller, Lisa Yadgar, David Adams, and Kathy Swigart; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Donna, and her husband. A memorial has been established to the Karen "Kay" Memorial Fund
