Obituary of Patty Ann Peterson

IN LOVING MEMORY OF PATTY A. PETERSON Patty A. Peterson, daughter of Dolliver and Rosie Zinke, was born June 11, 1944, in Audubon, Iowa, and passed away at the Norton County Hospital in Norton, Kansas, on July 14, 2012, at the age of 68. Patty grew up in Audubon and attended the schools there graduating in 1962. On February 8, 1964, she married Robert A. Peterson in Audubon. They made their home in Davenport, Iowa until 1966, when the moved to Atwood, Kansas. On August 1, 1972, they moved to Norton where her husband was a chiropractor and she was the office manager of the practice. Patty was a member of the Lutheran Church in Audubon. Survivors include: her husband, Dr. R.A. "Buzz" Peterson, of their home in Norton; two sons, Bobby, and wife, Hazel Peterson, Norton; Douglas Peterson, Overland Park, Kansas; five grandchildren, Cole, Meaghan, Nick, Jacob, and Josh; three brothers and their wives, Don and Ada Zinke, Des Moines, Iowa; Mike and Kathy Zinke, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Gary and Cindy Zinke, Atlantic, Iowa; one sister and her husband, Levonne "Tiny" and Charles McCabe, Algona, Iowa; other relatives and many friends. Patty was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial has been established to the Patty Peterson Memorial Fund.
