Arnold was a classmate and a friend throughout high school. After we graduated I didn't see Arnold often. I always knew Arnold would be a farmer. It was just part of his nature. I don't ever remember Arnold getting in trouble in school. He was a good example for the rest of us.

I remember Arny most from our school days together and especially from our football time. Arny was not a noisy gung-ho guy but better - a guy you could count on to get the job done and hang in there. We never won a game out senior year but he never guit. Arny was one of the Good Ones.
